Nadia has spent her life preparing to be her father’s secret weapon. She will do what her brothers cannot and infiltrate the theocratic government to bring down their oppressive reign, securing her own family’s power.

Now, she is thrust into the spotlight and told that her god will show the path to victory. Unlikely, considering he blessed her with his power and abandoned her in the same breath.
When their brothers are kidnapped while on caravan, Kinzi and Nadia are forced into action, and Kinzi finds herself facing the enemy much earlier than she expected. She is confronted with the question of how much she is willing to sacrifice to win this war, while Nadia finds herself straddled between her family and the conscience that is slowly growing within her.
